Kris Kearns Joins SoarTech as Director of Strategy
Soar Technology, Inc. (SoarTech) is pleased to announce that Kris Kearns has joined the company as Director of Strategy for our Unmanned Platforms business area. As part of this area’s continued growth Ms. Kearns will oversee technical developments including establishing technology roadmaps, working to enhance customer interactions, helping to mentor technical staff with concepts and projects, and managing SoarTech’s Dayton office.

At SoarTech she will have a major role in helping to define and position our autonomy solutions so they best support the warfighter.”
Kris has previously worked for the United States Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in a variety of roles, most recently as Portfolio Lead for Autonomy Research. In this position she led a team to facilitate collaborations between ARFL and industry/academic researchers across multiple areas of expertise. Other roles include Division Chief of Nonmetallic Materials, Branch Chief of Nanostructured & Biologic Materials, and Staff Engineer. She has both a Masters of Science in Materials Engineering and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Dayton.
