Amanda Bond Selected for Key AIS Consortium Position

We are excited to announce that Amanda Bond, lead scientist at SoarTech, has been appointed as Chair of the Adaptive Instructional Systems (AIS) Consortium’s Outreach Committee.

This important committee is one of three active collaborative teams assigned to pursue the consortium’s goals.  “The consortium will benefit greatly from Amanda’s leadership, creativity, energy, and organizational skills”, said Dr. Bob Sottilare, Chairman of the AIS Consortium Board of Directors.

SoarTech is a proud charter member of the Adaptive Instructional Systems (AIS) Consortium, a not-for-profit business alliance (501.c.6) that promotes the development and adoption of effective solutions that use artificial intelligence (AI) and other advanced technologies to help people learn more effectively and faster.

The AIS Consortium is part of the IEEE Industry Standards & Technology Organization (ISTO). Under Amanda’s leadership, the outreach committee is responsible for planning hack-a-thons, tutorials, podcasts, and other public and private (consortium-only) events. It is also instrumental in the planning and execution of conferences.
