SoarTech is sponsoring the 2015 Cognitive Methods in Situation Awareness and Decision Support (CogSIMA) conference, March 9-12 in Orlando, Florida. An annual conference, CogSIMA brings together researchers across a multitude of fields to focus on interdisciplinary approaches to both situation awareness and decision support. The aim of the conference is to “…provide a venue for presenting scientific results of studies of complex dynamical systems that include humans, physical systems and computer agents whose behaviors depend on situations. This year’s conference focuses on a broad range of these issues including: human-centric situation awareness, situation modeling and assessment, decision support, sensor networks, enhancing human performance, and agent-based situation awareness.”
In addition, SoarTech’s Chief Scientist Dr. Dylan Schmorrow, will be Keynote speaker, on the topic of “Situation Awareness and Decision Support within Smart Service Systems.” This talk will take place Wednesday, March 11th from 7:45 – 9:00am. See the abstract here.
